
Mathilde Cinq-Mars

Born in Trois-Rivières, Mathilde Cinq-Mars is a graduate of the Université de Strasbourg in visual arts and has studied animation at Université Laval. She has worked as a freelance illustrator for the last three years and includes among her clients Chenelière Publishers as well as many magazines such as Canada's History, L'Actualié, Apparté, Grilled Cheese, and Living in Style/Plaisir de Vivre. Since 2015, her work has been shown in the French gallery Carrée d'Artistes. Her illustrations have also been exposed at the Art Gallery of Ontario as part of the Youth Solidarity Project, at the Seigneurie d’Anhaive in Belgium, and at the Cabinet Amateur in France. Mathilde is currently working on her first graphic novel written by Caroline Roy-Element and her first two children's books written by Marie-Francine Hébert. She lives and works in Trois-Rivières.
