In the early days of the war, members of the Resistance would write "Free France" on francs. This was a technique used to circulate messages since currency tended to not be destroyed. This is one of the notes Aurora kept... a personal reminder, as it features Rene's handwriting.

AGENT: ALFRED GRAVES

BACKGROUND
----------
In his civilian life, Graves made a living as a professional “Master of Memory” where he performed memory tricks on stage in Toronto.

Sought the help of a psychologist to treat troublesome and heightened sensory experiences, as well as apparent hallucinations. A full medical workup led to a diagnosis of a rare condition called Synesthesia. The “hallucinations” were actually disturbances in his visual field due to cross-wired sensory input in the brain.

Further testing indicated Alfred ranks extremely high on the intelligence scale. His memory is seemingly unlimited. Testing also revealed Alfred displays heightened pattern recognition and advanced mathematical skills which make him an ideal candidate as a codebreaker.

FIELD EXPERIENCE
----------------
Enlisted as a Private but was unable to complete basic training due to “mental defect.”: He was prone to trembling, hyperventilating and uncontrolled reactions to apparent hallucinations.

SPECIALIZATION
--------------
Memorist
Codebreaker

LANGUAGES
---------
English: Fluent
French: Working knowledge, expected to become fluent
German: Basic working knowledge, expected to become fluent
*Memory provides faculty for language.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
----------------
Graves is a liability in the field.  He's untrained and has reacted poorly during combat training exercises. Losing him to the enemy would pose a severe risk. His tactical value in the field may make eventual deployment too attractive to resist, but any agents assigned with him should be warned Alfred's shortcomings will expose them to even greater risk.

AGENT: AURORA LUFT

BACKGROUND
----------
Luft worked in Paris as a journalist when the Germans took France.  Immediately began organizing a group of Resistance fighters alongside Rene Villiers.  Their operations were based out of the Café De L’Azur located in the 9th arondissement.  All cell members (except Villiers and Luft) were arrested in an ambush. Their fate is unknown.

When London gave the order to increase the number of active teams on the ground in France, Aurora’s background was vetted and approved for further field training. She is fluently trilingual, which gives her the natural ability to blend.  She is an exceptional asset to have on the ground in Occupied France.

FIELD EXPERIENCE
----------------
During basic training, Aurora excelled when it came to exercises involving strategic planning. She’s driven, ambitious and competitive.  Her strong sense of intuition makes her and ideal candidate for either an officer or leadership position.

AGENT: NEIL MACKAY

BACKGORUND
----------
Mackay served as a police officer in London before enlistment. He was posted to Shanghai, where he was assigned to the anti-riot squad and tasked with breaking up street gangs. While in China, Neil was attacked and beaten. He remained in critical condition for several weeks.

During his long recovery, began training in the local style of hand to hand combat, a fighting style unlike anything in the west. He earned what they designate a ‘black belt.’ He has shared some of those techniques with other recruits at the camp.

FIELD EXPERIENCE
----------------
Exceptional soldier. Disciplined and calculating. His years of experience in law enforcement and proven ability to work in a foreign environment make him an asset to the intelligence program.

AGENT: HARRY JAMES

BACKGROUND
----------
Selected for training straight from the University of Toronto. An exceptional student working toward a double major in engineering and chemistry. First noticed after he organized a HAM radio club at UofT where he developed an impressive encryption system for sending and receiving high speed Morse messages.

Recruited after a radio direction finding team in Toronto traced a transmission back to his dorm room, briefly confusing him for an enemy agent.

FIELD EXPERIENCE
----------------
HAM radio hobby makes him a natural fit as a radio operator.  He transmits Morse at 51 words per minute. At the camp, Harry also displayed an immediate proficiency with explosives.

AGENT: TOM CUMMINGS

BACKGROUND
----------
In his civilian life, Cummings worked on Madison Avenue where he was a rising player in the advertising world. While America remained neutral, Tom took part in strategy and planning sessions designed to mobilize the general American public into support for participation in the war.

After Pearl Harbor, Cummings was recruited out of Morale Operations and became the first American to enter the field as an agent.

FIELD EXPERIENCE
----------------
Began in Morale Ops, specializing in recruitment posters and black propaganda operations targeted at damaging German morale. Mackay’s attention to detail makes him exceptionally skilled as a forger.

Tom’s civilian skills are highly effective in the field. His confidence and charisma enable him to sell any lie and manipulate others to accomplish his mission.

SPECIALIZATION
--------------
Deception, Forgery, Propaganda

LANGUAGES
---------
English: Fluent
French: Basic Working Knowledge
German: Basic Working Knowledge

ADDITIONAL NOTES
----------------
Initially judged to be nominally deficient in weapons training, but impressed instructors with his dogged determination to improve those skills. Combat readiness is currently judged as “adequate.”
