Jessica Gale's Caribana Survival Kit Checklist

Jessica Gale is CBC Toronto's Caribana researcher. As a Trini-Canadian, she has a thorough understanding of Caribbean culture. "Caribana is a very important festival for me. It represents a time to celebrate the beauty and liberation of Caribbean culture in Toronto," she says.
Jessica has been going to the parade every year since she was very young and continues to go every summer to show her support and jump up to the music. Working together with the festival organizers and CBC programmers, Jessica is helping to create your Caribana connection on CBC TV, radio and online.
