Caleb is the oldest of Natalie’s children and the only one old enough to really remember his father. Caleb internalized his dad’s betrayal and let anger take quiet residency inside of him for years. But instead of rebelling, Caleb became the “man of the house”, a responsible martyr, looking after his mother and younger sisters. After a bumpy relationship and a run-in with the law, Caleb is determined to dismantle the typical teenage path set before him. Caleb’s a kid who’s had to grow up quick, and with his father back in the picture, he thinks he might finally have the space to let go of the pressures he’s been fighting to keep at bay.
