The secret is out! The action-packed, female-led cop drama, Lady Dicks announced a line-up of Canadian cast members today.

Airing in Canada on CBC and globally with NBCUniversal, Lady Dicks stars Meredith MacNeill (Baroness von Sketch Show) and Adrienne C. Moore (Orange Is The New Black) as two radically different female detectives in their early 40s.

The duo is made up of one "Guns and Gangs" detective and a "Drug Squad" detective who drive one another utterly insane on the job.

"Not only are these characters working high-pressure police cases, but they're also grappling with work-life balance, family, ambition, and partnerships," says co-creator and co-showrunner Tassie Cameron (Rookie Blue).

Among the new cast members, you may recognize Canadian Screen Award-winning actress Karen Robinson, who plays the no-nonsense character Ronnie Lee on Schitts Creek, and Mildred Clarke on Frankie Drake Mysteries.

Cartoon fans may also recognize Tara Strong, as the voice of Teen Titans character Raven, and Bubbles from The Powerpuff Girls. Also joining the cast are Dean McDermott (Slasher), Al Mukadam (Miss Sloane), Percy Hynes White (The Gifted), Katie Douglas (Mary Kills People), and Ronnie Rowe (Star Trek: Discovery, Black Cop).

Sherry White (Little Dog, streaming now on CBC Gem) is also co-creating and co-showrunning the series for Cameron Pictures, with the critically-acclaimed director, David Wellington (Vikings, Orphan Black, Rookie Blue) directing the premiere episode.

The series is currently being shot in Ontario, Canada.
