Bruno Gervais is competing with Ekaterina Gordeeva. He is skating for the Gervais-Talbot Foundation.
Bruno Gervais was born in Longueuil, Quebec. By the age of 18, Gervais had been named the captain of his Quebec Major Junior League team, the Acadie-Bathurst Titans. In 2003, Gervais was drafted by the New York Islanders in the sixth round. His 2005/2006 debut in the NHL proved that he was a strong defensive player. Gervais was awarded the Nassau County Athlete of the year in 2009, after achieving a career high 19 goals in 63 games. In 2011 he was traded to the Tampa Bay Lightning, then signed a two-year contract with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2012. In the 2014/2015 season, Gervais played for the AHL for the Lake Erie Monsters where he played as team captain.
After many team shifts over the years between the NHL and AHL, Gervais took his hockey career to Europe, where he played for Eisbären Berlin for two years before he announced his retirement in the summer of 2017.
Gervais is competing with Ekaterina Gordeeva as his partner. He is skating for the the Gervais-Talbot Foundation, a charity which donates to multiple children's charities.
