Will Dark Green PC grow on people?

Austin Hill just announced that he is launching a technological effort to save energy, cut greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the need for coal-burning electricity plants by saving power on desktop PCs.

Dark Green PC will let people download a small application that helps them better manage their PC's power use.

Hill is an advisor to the Zero Footprint organization that the City of Toronto is engaged with to make saving energy a social activity along th lines of Facebook.
