In this "I Was There" segment, Canadian folk legend Ian Tyson tells the story of how he wrote "Four Strong Winds," which would go on to become a hit in Canada when he recorded it as one half of Ian & Sylvia.
Eighty years old and still going strong, Tyson is touring western Canada and the United States this summer and fall.
