For much of his life, Adam Copeland was better known as the professional wrestler Edge.
Copeland, who's now on the TV show Haven, spoke with George about adapting to civilian life after leaving WWE at 37.
"I saw so many instances over the years of guys that could not grasp how to deal with after," Copeland said. "I always introduced myself as Adam — from day one. I was never Edge. Edge was a character.
"As I knew my career was coming closer and closer to the end, I was like, 'I gotta wrap my mind around this. Because I don't want to be that guy like Mickey Rourke in The Wrestler."
Adam Copeland's interview with George airs Wednesday, February 5 at 7 and 11:30 p.m. on CBC.
