Comic actor Brent Butt used this edition of Something You Might Not Know About Canada to tell the story of the time when the Ottawa Silver Seven hockey team won the Stanley Cup in 1905.

The team took some liberties with the Cup on the Rideau Canal.

"After winning the Cup the Ottawa Silver Seven took it out on the town," explained Butt. "After celebrating with a few drinks... the players tried to see if they could kick the Cup across the Canal. 'Cause, why wouldn't they?"
