Actress, author and now singer Molly Ringwald was in the red chair to talk about her career and new jazz album, Except Sometimes.
Ringwald, who used to date Adam Horovitz (a.k.a. Ad-Rock) from the Beastie Boys, talked about watching that band grow and evolve.
"He [Horovitz] is amazing, really smart and funny," said Ringwald. "I think he wasn't sure if he was going to stay with the band, if he was going to go into acting or what he was going to do. And that's when Paul's Boutique happened and that's when everything started to change. It's really sort of gratifying to see everybody change what people's expectations are of you.
"And yeah, they're an incredible band."
