Former child soldier Ishmael Beah was in the red chair to talk about his new book, Radiance of Tomorrow.
The new book focuses on life after being a child soldier. George asked Beah if he forgave himself for what he's done.
"You have to forgive yourself in order to learn to move on," said Beah. "Because otherwise if you don't the burden, the memories would literally kill you. It's too much. So you have to learn to build new memories, to move forward and to appreciate the simple moments of just waking up every day without having to run for your life."
