Shirley Douglas and Wm. Paul Young are in the red chair. A legend on stage and screen, Shirley Douglas is the daughter of Tommy Douglas, the first leader of the federal NDP and the father of Medicare. Now, Shirley's being honoured for all her great work with ACTRA Toronto's 2013 Award of Excellence. And Paul Young is on the show. 'The Shack' is his novel about a grieving father who comes faces-to-face with God. It spent almost a year atop the New York Times bestseller list: more than 18 million copies in 42 languages. Now Paul has written a follow-up novel. 'Cross Roads' tells the story of a man as he examines his life and the consequences of his actions. The twist? It all takes place somewhere between heaven and earth. And our panel features the very funny standup comedian Jeff McEnery.
