What Would A Music Video Sound Like If You Sucked Out All The Music?

If you haven't seen what Mario Wienerroither does to music videos, you have to check these out. The Austrian music producer and foley artist strips the music out of the videos, and then creates his own sound effects track to go along with the action on screen. Here's his latest creation, based on Jamiroquai's "Virtual Insanity":

For the The Prodigy's "Firestarter," the only sounds Wienerroither kept were Keith Flint's spooky cries, "You're the firestarter, twisted firestarter!"

His take on Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" fills in the cheerleader calls, but reduces the band's mighty roar to disjointed vocals, guitar scratches and drum hits.

And finally, for Queen's "I Want To Break Free," he preserves Freddie Mercury's singing, but nothing else:
