Most of us know that Napoleon was short, Vikings wore helmets with horns, and people believed the world was flat until Columbus proved otherwise. But as this amusing new video from C.G.P. Grey makes clear, most of us are wrong.

Taking on those historical misconceptions, and a couple of others for good measure, this vid offers a quick look at the truth behind some commonly held beliefs about history:
