Man, you 604'ers must be getting pretty smug at this point. For the 5th year in a row, Vancouver has been named "the world's most liveable city" by The Economist. Well, la dee dah! Aren't you so great with your beaches, and your mountains, and your hiking trails, and your water-taxis, and your low crime rate, and your awesome sushi joints, and your precious Canucks, and blah blah blah!

"Oooo! I think I'll just rent a sea kayak and go paddling around with my friends the seals, and then go to yoga, I'm so great!"

Oh, I'm just kidding. I love Van-City. (In fact, we'll be seeing you soon, hint hint.)

As far as the rest of the top 5 goes, it's pretty good for Canada.

2. Melbourne, Australia (Crikey! Not bad, I reckon!)
3. Vienna, Austria (lovely, but a bit boring if you ask me)
4. Toronto! (Woo HOO! HOG TOWN!)
5. Calgary. (Welcome to the top 5 Cow Town!)
