Since I'm excited about having him on the show Tuesday, I took a look around director, producer, writer and artist Tim Burton's latest exhibit at the TIFF Bell Lightbox before heading to the office this morning. If you haven't heard about it, the show is a fascinating career retrospective. The exhibit houses all these early sketches and old drawings including his ten initial mock-ups for what Edward Scissorhands would look like. It's a really interesting collection.

What's more incredible are his fans...they were lined up since around 6 a.m. It's pretty damp and chilly in Toronto today - that's real dedication.

The show runs today through to April 17th, 2011, so be sure to check it out if you enjoy the man's work.

Tim Burton will also be signing books today from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the TIFF Bell Lightbox.

The other really cool part of his show here is his interactive web project - Burton Story. It's a Cadavre Exquis. The idea is to collectively tell the story of Stainboy by way of Twitter. Each person gets to write a line, 140 characters at a time.
