SOUNDS OF THE SEASON: Help The Hungry

submit to reddit

The Sounds of the Season event is taking place at the CBC Broadcasting Centre in downtown Toronto on December 15. It's an opportunity to meet some CBC personalities - including George - and give to the needy, with donations of food or money that will benefit local food banks in the Greater Toronto Area.

If you find yourself in Ontario's capital Thursday, drop by the CBC building with a food item for donation, then stick around for events in the Barbara Frum Atrium, starting at 8:45 a.m. and running until 3:15 p.m.

At 11:45 a.m., you can catch George when he sits for an interview with CBC Live. He will be available afterwards to meet and have his picture taken with visitors.

If downtown Toronto is too far away to visit, you can call the Sounds of the Season donation hotline at 1-877-867-9288 to make a contribution, or visit the website listed below.
