These guys kinda speak for themselves. Rush, quite simply, are Canadian rock royalty.

Rock royalty, period, actually. Over the past forty years, Rush have become worldwide stars. And yes - I said FORTY YEARS. They've been around THAT long.

It was 1968 when Alex Lifeson and Geddy Lee joined forces in Toronto. A few years later, drummer Neil Peart joined in, and Rush was on its way. And what a start.

Their first album - in '74 - became the biggest selling debut by a Canadian band! Since then, Rush has released another eighteen albums, sold more than forty million of 'em and played sold-out concerts around the world.

Along the way, the guys have been nominated for a bunch of Grammys, won a slew of Junos, and received pretty much every other Canadian honour under the sun.

Now, they're about to launch a new North American tour, and they're the subject of a new documentary by the same guys who made 'Metal' and 'Global Metal'. It's called 'Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage'.
