Now THAT’S How You Welcome A Freshman Class

Nicholas Selby, a sophomore in the Mechanical Engineering program at Georgia Tech University, gave a heck of a welcome speech to this year's incoming freshman class.

A video of his speech is making the rounds online, and it's all because of the over-the-top (and somewhat self-referential) passion of Selby's delivery.

It starts off like a standard convocation speech. But then 'Also Sprach Zarathustra', the classical piece by Richard Strauss that serves as the theme song to Stanley Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey', comes on, and... Everything escalates.

It's definitely entertaining - especially when the camera cuts to the crowd, some of whom don't seem to know what to do with themselves.
