Don't worry: this isn't some extreme form of body modification surgery.
But you could be forgiven for thinking it is.
Although it looks like someone's been adding zippers and buttons to these poor models, these works by Japanese college student and artist Choo-San are actually all done with acrylic paint.
Like her earlier work, they're not digitally manipulated in any way. Instead, Choo-San paints directly on her models' bodies.
Apparently she discovered her talent for art during the year she spent studying for university entrance exams. While she worked, she would distract herself by drawing on her hands.
The quality got better and better, and since then she's honed her talent into what you see here.
Next question: will anyone be brave enough to let her give them a tattoo?
