Enjoy watching movies in 3D? Hate sharing the experience with others? Sony may have the perfect solution for you. The company just set a Japanese street date for their new head-mounted display "Personal 3D viewer." It's exactly what it sounds like - a home theatre system you wear on your face.

While the addition of 3D may be new, this is not the first attempt at selling people on "glasses with a TV inside." Vuzix has been making "video eyewear" since 2005, and history is littered with companies that have tried and failed to popularize private viewing via headgear.
