A couple of weeks back, Banksy, the notorious U.K.-based street artist, kicked off a month-long artistic residency in New York City. Since then, his work has been gawked at, tagged and even sold for a pittance in Central Park (his idea) — meanwhile, local media outlets have led the (still unsuccessful) chase to finally unmask the anonymous artist. Check out our gallery above for some highlights from the residency.
