She is one of the world’s most-famous people — number one on Forbes’ list of most powerful celebrities. But for all we know about Oprah Winfrey, surprisingly little is known about her partner for the last 28 years, Stedman Graham.
Graham, who grew up in the Whitesboro, New Jersey community founded exclusively for African-Americans back at the turn of the 20th century, is a business leader, an educator and founder of the non-profit Athletes Against Drugs. He’s a former athlete himself, having played professional basketball in Europe, but never realizing his dream of making the NBA.
That theme of fulfilling your potential is brought to bear in his work as an author. He's written two New York Times bestsellers and 11 motivational books. His latest is Identity: Your Passport To Success.
