Toronto-born, Calgary-raised Raghav's is in the red chair talking about his brand of multilingual, collaborative pop music — incidentally rooted in country music — and its international success. He recently teamed up with Grammy-winning composer A.R. Rahman (Slumdog Millionaire) as the voice of megastar Shah Rukh Khan for the song "Ishq Shava" from the Bollywood movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Back in the day, his debut album Storyteller sold over a million copies worldwide, he's had four top ten U.K. singles, and his sophomore album, Identity was number one in both India and the Middle East. More recently, back at home his single "So Much" track featuring Kardinal Offishall earned a Juno nomination for Soul/R&B Recording of the Year and the track "Fire" was certified gold, all things he hopes to repeat with his latest release Woo Hoo. Raghav talks hard work, big breaks and about obstacles along the way.
