When Paul Haggis becomes involved in something, he usually makes a name for himself.
The Canadian-born Hollywood writer and director won an Academy Award for 'Crash'.
These days, Paul is busy working on his latest project 'Third Person', a film that follows three intertwining love stories across the globe.
But Paul's interests go beyond just cinema. He's also pouring his energy in to helping those less fortunate.
Along with some friends and colleagues, Paul created Artists for Peace and Justice, a fundraising effort that encourages peace, social justice and addresses issues of poverty and enfranchisement around the world, with a special focus on Haiti.
The organization is focusing on recovery and rebuilding efforts three years after the devastating earthquake there, and reminding those who promised aid to carry though on their promises.
