Finding success as a television actress ain't easy. Doing it in Canada... even harder. Which makes Nancy Robertson a rarity indeed.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Nancy burst on to Canadian TV screens in 2004 with the premiere of 'Corner Gas', playing book-smart but socially awkward Wanda Dollard.
And what a run 'Corner Gas' had. Six seasons, one hundred and seven episodes, six Gemini Awards, and more than a million viewers every week. The show not only made her a Canadian favourite, but she also met her husband on set, marrying co-star Brent Butt.
These days, the two are back at it, teaming up creatively for another comedy series. This one's called 'Hiccups.' Nancy plays a successful children's author, known to fly off the handle.
