Kardinal Offishall, internationally loved rap artist and activist started performing from a young age. His blend of dancehall and hip-hop sounds are infused with his West Indian heritage and Canadian upbringings. He became known for songs like "Bakardi Slang" and "Maxine," and his 2008 collaboration with Akon led to the song "Dangerous," which resonated beyond borders and the video now has over 61 million hits on YouTube. He's become a multi-Juno Award-winning artist and has collaborated with Estelle, Lloyd and T-Pain. Kardi's travelled all over the world and performed in places like Spain, India and is supporting humanitarian work in Africa.
