Jeff Barnaby's debut feature film Rhymes for Young Ghouls is winning the writer/director acclaim and recognition from the likes of VIFF, TIFF and the Toronto Film Critics Association. His use of filmmaking as a form of social protest often results in stories that are gritty, raw and defy stereotypical treatments of Aboriginal themes. He talks about his motivations and inspirations in the red chair with George. It's a conversation about creating a vision, about transcending culture and breaking the mould of expectations.
