How does an ordinary man grow up to become an action hero? Eastwood, Schwarzenegger, Stallone?
Well, actor Jason Momoa is poised to follow in those footsteps with his latest action movie, 'Bullet to the Head'.
Jason may be built like an action figure and may have laid waste to more actors than 'TMZ' in shows like 'Game of Thrones' and movies like 'Conan the Barbarian' - but there was a time when he was actually bullied.
Growing up a hippie kid in Iowa, he spent his fair share of time, as he says ... 'stuffed in lockers.'
Well, no one's bullying him now.
A former model (and off-screen leading man to Lisa Bonet of the Huxtable clan), Jason found his footing as an actor in the short-lived show 'Baywatch, Hawaii'. After that, he struggled to find roles - 'Baywatch' will do that to an actor - but when he did finally hit, it was big: as Khal Drogo in 'Game of Thrones', Jason was a fan favourite - and he brought the same ferocity to his next role as the title character in the bloody reboot of 'Conan the Barbarian'.
Now Jason's squaring off against his childhood hero - Sylvester Stallone - in an exciting new action pic set in New Orleans. It's called 'Bullet to the Head', and opens across Canada on February 1st, 2013.
