Author, public speaker and UNICEF's Advocate for Children Affected by War, Ishmael Beah returns to the red chair to talk about his new book Radiance of Tomorrow, a fictional account of people returning to their war-torn village in Sierra Leone after the end of devastating civil war. It's a follow-up to his autobiographical A Long Way Gone: Memoirs of a Boy Soldier, which recounted the civil war, being turned into a child soldier and his subsequent rescue and rehabilitation by UNICEF. He talks to George about post-war realities, reconciliation and healing.
