Dr. Cornel West
Dr. Cornel West is a leading American intellectual, best known for his seminal work Race Matters. Having taught at Princeton, Harvard and Yale, he is now a professor of philosophy and Christian practice at the Union Theological Seminary in New York City. In the past few decades, West has also become a permanent fixture in the American media — he is a frequent commentator on such shows as Tavis Smiley and Democracy Now! — as well as a recognizable face in pop culture, with cameos in The Matrix movies and on 30 Rock.
