Artist. Author. Futurist. Douglas Coupland's one of Canada's favourite writers and social commentators, who became famous for his 1991 penning of Generation X: Tales for an Accelerated Culture and his commentary on the apathies and realities of a generation. He brings his love for writing and reality television together in his latest book Worst. Person. Ever. His work has been translated into 36 languages and his novel jPod was adapted into a CBC Television series. He's contributed to publications including The New York Times, Spin, Wired, Saturday Night and the Financial Times. Often poised on the verge of new discovery and innovation, he takes to the red chair to talk about life, writing and the future.
