Guest David Douglas

David Douglas began his filmmaking career by making a multiple image documentary while in high school in Edmonton, which led to a now infamous 1970 meeting, and eventual employment by the inventors of the IMAX system. Now, with over 30 years in the IMAX medium, David is the industry's most experienced cinematographer, having photographed over 30 films for IMAX Corp and other clients. Douglas, who has worked onthe Oscar-nominated Fires of Kuwait and critically acclaimed Survival Island's newest film is called, Island of Lemurs: Madagascar. It is, understandably, about lemurs.
