Whether you're into basketball or not, it's hard not to like Chris
Bosh. Along with being an NBA superstar, Chris is a genuinely nice guy,
and he's got a great sense of humour. But we'll get to that...
First,
the basketball. Chris was selected fourth overall by the Toronto
Raptors in the 2003 NBA Draft. As a rookie, he played in the shadow of
Vince Carter. But when Vince was traded, Chris became the franchise.
He's been an all-star four times, led the Raps to a division title and
won gold with Team USA at the Beijing Olympics. So, that's the "on
court" stuff.
Off the court, Chris has set up his own foundation
to help kids reach their educational and athletic goals - and when he
signed a new deal a few years ago, he donated a million dollars to a
Toronto charity. He also became the first athlete in the world to
launch his own iPhone application. And he's become quite the performer -
doing comedy skits on YouTube that have had millions of hits.
Now,
he's got a short film about his off-season, plus five new comedy
sketches. It's all on his new DVD: 'Chris Bosh Presents: First Ink.'
