Some people say kids grow up too fast. Well how about 12 years in two minutes and 45 seconds?
Filmmaker Frans Hofmeester filmed his daughter, Lotte, every week for 12 years and cut it into this timelapse video. That's a lot of time hovering over your child with a video camera. Starting with a newborn Lotte in her crib, the video shows the child's features changing as she grows, subtly shifting from desaturated black and white to full colour. His son Vince, who is nine years old, wasn't left out: Hofmeester created a similar time-lapse for him.
