The International Space Station has a pretty great view of the earth - being up in space and all - and while you and I and most other people will never get to spend a luxury weekend up there, doing Moonraker-ish science fair projects like the Integrated Assessment of Long-term Cosmic Radiation Through Biological Responses of the Silkworm and the Production of High Performance Nanomaterials in Microgravity, what you and I and all those other space-flightless people CAN do is check out a couple of beautiful timelapse videos of the Northern Lights as seen from the perspective of the ISS as the earth rotates (while figuring out how to become a member of the Green Lantern Corps so we can see this majestic sight in person whenever we want).
