I’LL TUMBLR FOR YA: Hungover Owls, Crazy Things ... And Nick Clegg
March 11, 2012
submit to reddit

In this week's survey of the best that Tumblr has to offer, we celebrate feeds that give us EXACTLY what their titles suggest:

1. Hungover Owls

Sometimes, if you feel truly terrible and know that you only have yourself to blame, it's good to know that someone knows what you're going through - or at least LOOKS like they do. Even if you're just projecting your feelings onto a poor, unsuspecting owl.

2. Know What's F**ing Crazy?

Sometimes it takes an outsider's perspective to make us realize the things we take for granted - or to point out all of the weird things we have learned to accept as normal. In this case, it took a Tumblr feed to make us realize the inherent strangeness of everything from teeth, weather and the sensation of pain to credit cards, the Super Bowl and, yes, even swearing.

Have you ever stopped to think about people who spend a lot of time putting together humorous micro-blogs in order to amuse total strangers? That's f**ing CRAZY!

(WARNING: As you might have guessed, there are a LOT of swear words on this site.)

3. Nick Clegg Looking Sad

Britain's current Deputy Prime Minister guided his Liberal Democrat party to an unprecedented showing in the last U.K. election, bringing them into government as a coalition partner with David Cameron's Conservatives. Cause for celebration, right? It certainly doesn't look like it, judging by his penchant for making sad faces.

Maybe all those rank-and-file members of his party upset about his choice of coalition partner bother him more than he likes to admit. At least he can take comfort that SOMEONE out there can empathize: Keanu Reeves.
