Yummy Mummy Makeovers

This time, hairstylist Dee Dagher set her shears on a group of moms on maternity leave, who were ready to take some much-deserved time for themselves!

1. Salon Virgin

Dilemma: Erin had never been to a salon before visiting Dee; instead, she'd been box-dying her hair and visiting her local chain cuttery. Needless to say, she was eager to try something new!

Solution: Dee added texture to boost Erin's volume and bring more attention to the nape of her neck in profile. The longer layers in front draw the eye to Erin's face. Tip: If you're a DIY dyer like Erin, it's okay! If you can swing it, get your hair professionally dyed twice a year and use an at-home option for maintenance in between.

2. Two-Tone Tresses

Dilemma: Meaghan had an edgy two-tone look: blonde hair on top, dark hair underneath. She needed something subtler and more appropriate that she could tie up when she's working or attending events with her husband.

Solution: Meaghan's new rich-burgundy colour and edgy bob offer the versatility she needs. She can use a flatiron to straighten her hair to show off the cut or add loose curls for a softer look.

3. Lackluster Locks

Dilemma: Crystal has no problem expressing her personality with her tattoos, but her hair was a whole other story!

Solution: Crystal's new look is not for the faint of heart, but the adventurous mom was game for anything. Dee took advantage and lopped off over a foot of her hair! Her new pixie 'do couldn't be easier to maintain: A quick swipe of hair paste through her hair in the morning and she's good to go!
