Mod Trend

The mod scene was an influential moment in British pop culture. Rebellious outsiders made miniskirts and flat shoes their wardrobe essentials. This trend feels as fresh and unexpected today as it first did then. Shellys was the very first brand to offer platforms to women in London in the 60's. They embody an attitude.

Get the look: Pink Tartan top and skirt; Furla bag; Shellys London shoes.
All available at Hudson's Bay.

Blanket dressing

On the runway it was slightly disheveled and over-the-top but this is an interpretation is slightly more refined and a practical option for work. With this much layering, a variety of textures and weights is essential for interest and balance.

Get the look: Vince coat and turtleneck; Johnstons of Elgin scarf; 3.1 Phillip Lim skirt; Isaac Mizrahi bag.
All available at Hudson's Bay.

Skirt/Pants

One of the more daring trends out there, street style mavens are wearing skirts over everything from jeans to pajama pants. We even saw this trend on the red carpet when Emma Watson wore a Dior cap sleeve dress over trousers to the Golden Globes. This 3.1 Philip Lim one-piece offers clean lines and less bulk than the quirky fashion-forward looks popularized on the street.

Get the look:3.1 Phillip Lim skirt over pant; Alice and Olivia heels; Halston Heritage clutch; Vince Camuto mesh chain drama pendant necklace.
All available at Hudson's Bay.

The Norm-Core

The biggest thing in fashion right now is norm-core. It is all about understated simplicity, fitting into the crowd as opposed to standing out. Gone are crazy pattern clashes and bold colour, in it's place is a neutral palette and anti-fashion heroes such as Jerry Seinfeld, Bill Gates And Larry David.

Get the look: Theory suit; Vince shirt; Calvin Klein bag; Joie shoe
All available at Hudson's Bay.
