Step #1: Prep

Start your morning routine with a good cleanser! A good cleanser can do wonders for your skin and will save you a lot of time in the morning. Look for a cleanser that is multi-purpose.

Step #2: The Base

This next step is to even out your complexion by concealing redness or blemishes on the skin. Instead of using a foundation and a separate concealer, Sandy recommends using one product that does both to save time and money. She likes to use a stick foundation for fast and easy application and better coverage.

Apply the foundation, blending with a sponge for even coverage. With the tip of the blending sponge, apply extra foundation under the eye area to conceal dark circles — make sure to go right up along the lash line!

Step #3: Cheeks

Bronzer is used to give your complexion a boost and add definition to your cheekbones, nose and chin. Sandy recommends using a fluffy powder brush to apply bronzer. Apply the product in a ‘figure-3 motion’ on both sides of the face, then a light sweep down the middle. Keep doing this until your desired shade is achieved. Blend as you go.

For added definition, add extra bronzer under your cheekbones, down the sides of your nose and right below your chin.

Blush adds a pop of colour and brightens up the complexion. Use a bright pink shade; it's perky and will instantly liven up all skin tones. Using a blush brush, apply product to the apples of the cheek. Make sure you blend well so it looks like the colour is coming from within and not sitting on top of the skin!

Step #4: Eyes

When you don't have a ton of time in the morning, it's best to skip eyeliner because it's a technique that can be tricky to do. Instead, opt for fresh and simple eye shadow and mascara.
Use a shimmery pink eye shadow shade to instantly brighten up the eye area. Apply the product with a fluffy eye shadow brush all over the lid. Quickly curl your lashes with an eyelash curler to get instant volume, and then apply several coats of volumizing black mascara.

Step #5: Lips

Lastly, add a high shine lip gloss to complete the look. Lip gloss is youthful and can be applied anytime and anywhere.
