Chris’ Angels: Should You Invest In These Beauty Gadgets?

The Angels are back and they're checking out some innovations in beauty gadgets to see if they're really all that.

Japonesque - Mini Heated Eyelash Curler $16

Claim: Creates a sweeping, deep, natural curl for hard to curl lashes. Unlike traditional curlers that can pinch or break lashes with pressure, lifts and curls the lashes with heat. Use before or after mascara application.

Verdict: It does what it says it's gonna do...raise the lashes and curls them. I just don't have time to do it! I usually put on mascara while brushing my daughters hair...then the next daughter comes along and I'm running to the school bus. This product is great if you have time on your hands. -Taylor Kaye

Foreo Luna Mini $160

Claim: Facial brush channels T-Sonic™ pulsations through soft silicone touch-points for deep and gentle cleansing. Three-zone brush is suitable for all skin types: thicker touch-points on reverse designed to deeply cleanse oilier skin/T-zone; thinner touch-points sensitive or dry skin. Delivers visibly brighter, more radiant skin. Features body-safe silicone. It comes with a charger and a two-year warranty.

Verdict: I really liked the Foreo Mini. I love the fact that it was non-abrasive and my skin was squeaky clean after each use. It had no problem removing my make-up at all. Over all, I believe the Foreo brightened the look of my skin and is beginning to fade out a few dark spots from acne scaring. I have a healthy glow and I also noticed my pores have minimized. The best part? You don't have to buy replacement brushes and it only needs to be charged a few times a year. This is a definite yes for me! -Cher Jones

Fullips Lip Enhancer $20-$50 For All Shapes

Claim: For fuller lips and a better lip line in seconds. Natural enhancement with no chemicals. Temporary and non-invasive using self-suction. Great for all ages, men and women.

Verdict: Temporary, temporary, temporary! The results don't last for very long and lets face it, you look like a complete tool using it! The pressure it applies to your lips is also a little weird and uncomfortable. Just my opinion, but I could see long-term, daily use of this product as possibly contributing to wrinkles and fine lines around the lip area. -Joanne Alderson
