Let's be honest. When most of us think vodka, we think of our favourite cocktail. But Cocktail Deeva Dee Brun says there are helpful household uses for it. Be sure to use only lower-quality vodka for these, though!

1. Clean your clothes

If you need a quick fix to get a little funk out of your clothes, mix one part vodka and one part water in a spray bottle and spritz away!

2. Make your hair shine

Add a couple shots of vodka to your bottle of shampoo to get a little extra shine. The vodka breaks down chemicals found in shampoos, making inexpensive shampoos better.

3. Soothe a toothache or canker sore

Swish a shot of vodka over the affected area, to numb the pain and disinfect where you're sore. Just beware: your honey may accuse you of smelling like a saloon!
