We (Heart) Our Audiences!


February is Heart Month, an annual campaign urging Canadians to become more aware of their own health and raise life-saving funds that will impact others. Read on to find out how we here at S&C are making death wait and how you can, too!

Steven and Chris support the Heart and Stroke Foundation's annual fundraising campaign.

Did you know heart disease and stroke claim one in three Canadians before their time? What's more, they're also the top killers of women in Canada, taking more female lives than all cancers combined.

But it doesn't have to be that way. We can help change those odds.

Here at Steven and Chris, we're committed to spreading the word to help people live longer and healthier lives. We want to get everyone involved. And last week, our studio audiences joined in the fight, graciously opening their hearts (and wallets) and donating to the Heart and Stroke Foundation at every taping. Their generosity has been tremendous. Thank you!




For those of you watching at home, there's plenty you can do as well.

For starters, live healthier! Engage in a physical activity for at least 150 minutes a week—walk, run, Hula-Hoop (we won't judge!)—keep tabs on your cholesterol levels, maintain a healthy diet, kick that tobacco habit, limit your alcohol consumption and avoid stress as much as you can.

Be a volunteer. Join the thousands of others who have given their time to help the Heart and Stroke Foundation meet its goal to reduce heart- and stroke-related deaths by 25% by 2020.

Donate. The money raised during Heart Month will go towards life-saving heart and stroke research, advocacy, health promotion and educational programs.
