Mighty Muscle Workout
According to fitness expert Sarah Robichaud, building muscle is a great way to lose weight, stay youthful and live well. The key is a well-rounded routine that targets the five muscle groups: legs, abs, chest, back and arms. But guess what? You can work 'em all at home with no special equipment! Here's how:
1. Legs
Muscles: quadriceps, hamstrings and gluteus maximus
2. Abs
Muscles: rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis and obliques
3. Chest
Muscles: pectoralis major
4. Back
Muscles: trapezius, deltoids, latissimi dorsi and erector spinae
5. Arms
Muscles: triceps brachii and biceps brachii
