Peggy’s Holiday Cures
The invites have started rolling in and you're all set to soak in some fun this holiday season. If you find yourself indulging in all the season has to offer, you may want to keep these cures on hand from nutritionist Peggy K!
Ingredients
Cure for Too Many Parties
1 Cup Tangerine juice , Freshly squeezed6 Fresh sage leaves
1 Cup Mineral water
1/8 tsp Turmeric
2 sprigs Rosemary
Cure for Too Many Drinks
2 Cups Coconut Water1/4 teaspoon Ginger , Freshly minced
8-10 Fresh mint leaves
Twist Lime juice

1 cup Bilberry tea , steeped1 tablespoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons Chia seeds, Ground
2 tablespoons Almond Butter
1 cup Almond Milk
1/2 cup Blueberries or Blackberries
5-6 cubes Ice

1 cup Peppermint Tea1 cup ChamomileTtea
1 cup Dandelion Root Tea
1 cup Fennel Tea

Here's a great drink to keep you on while you party hop. While the mineral water helps fight exhaustion, the sage and rosemary will boost your brain functions so you can remember an old friend's name! It also makes for a great alternative for energy drinks.
Shake the tangerine juice and sage with ice in a shaker and pour into a glass. Top with mineral water and give a stir with rosemary, just to give it a hint of scent!

' Tis the season to indulge so while you let go and gulp down those drinks, we have a little something for you to feel better the next day.
In a shaker cup, add coconut water, ginger and mint, shake with ice, pour into a tall glass, add a twist of lime. Have it before or after a party. You can even add some vodka and have it during a party as well.

If all those cookies, cakes and candy canes are giving you a sugar-rush, try this drink to balance it out.
Add all ingredients into a blender and blend! While the chromium in the Bilberry tea balances sugar levels and cravings, the fibre in the almond butter and milk will absorb all the sugar in your body. We recommend you have it for breakfast the next day!
