Korean Bean Sprouts

Korean food is famous for its side dishes, and chef Joanna Tymkiw shows us one of her faves! Eat alongside her Korean BBQ Flank Steak and Korean Cheesy Corn.

Ingredients

1 bag bean sprouts, check through for freshness
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoons sesame oil
1 teaspoons Korean chili flakes
to taste salt
to taste pepper

Preparation

  1. Add water to a pan at medium heat and toss in sprouts. Put lid on and let steam for a few minutes.
  2. Add sesame oil and Korean chili flakes. 
  3. Cook until heated through but still crisp. 
  4. Garnish with black and white sesame seeds and add another sprinkle of Korean chili flakes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
