Peggy K’s Detox Cocktail
It’s time to be kind to your liver after the holiday indulgence. Sip on this green delight and let the ingredients do their magic!
Ingredients
1 lemon
2 fennel stalks with fronds
1 slice ginger, 2-inch piece
2 cups pinapple, cut into chunks
1/2 cup kale
1 cup coconut water
2 pinches turmeric
2 pinches cayenne pepper, or to taste
Preparation
- Squeeze the lemon into two glasses.
- Pass the fennel, ginger, pineapple and kale through the juicer and divide between the two glasses.
- Top off the drinks with coconut water and a sprinkling of turmeric and cayenne.
Yield: 2 drinks
