Add a little chai tea to your root beer float for an explosion of flavour and spice. Zane Caplansky shares his take on a classic drink — and it has less sugar too!

Chai tea root beer float

Ingredients

4 large clear mugs chilled in freezer
2 cans root beer, chilled, divided
2 cups chai tea, divided
4 scoops vanilla ice cream

Preparation

  1. Chill your glasses in the freezer for 20 minutes.  
  2. Once chilled add 1 or 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream.  
  3. Fill glass half way up with chilled chai tea and half way up with cold root beer and enjoy!
