Easy Cocktail: Basil and Lemon Prosecco

This quick Prosecco drink is the perfect start to a dinner party — it will please even the cocktail connoisseurs.

Four champagne flutes filled with Prosecco, lemon rind and basil leaves.

Ingredients

6 teaspoons sugar
6 pieces lemon peel
6 small sprigs basil
1 bottle Prosecco

Preparation

  1. Use a vegetable peeler to peel six two-inch pieces of lemon rind. 
  2. Divide sugar, basil and peel of lemon among six champagne flutes. 
  3. Fill with chilled Prosecco and enjoy!
